EXECUTIVE FUNCTION & PARENT COACHING

Blakey Wellness  offers Executive Function Coaching for neurodiverse adolescents including high school and college students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and anxiety. Parent Coaching is offered in conjunction with EF Coaching for a collaborative and supportive network for the student.

FOSTERING SKILLS THAT INCREASE

AUTONOMY, ACCOUNTABILITY, AND ADVOCACY

Parent Coaching

Parent Coaching facilitates and strengthens the lines of communication between the student and their parents. This is a safe space where parents can receive psychoeducation regarding their student's diagnosis, synergistic practices on how best to implement boundaries and consequences, and methods of leading with love to advance your student's independence. Parent Coaching is an integral part of Blakey Wellness as a collaborative system of support that encourages the individuation of your student.

Executive Function Coaching

What is Executive Functioning?

  • Working memory

  • Inhibition control

  • Pivoting

  • Long-term planning

  • Problem-solving

  • Time management

Executive Function Coaching empowers students by setting realistic goals towards attaining their intrinsic motivations, offering accountability and building confidence by returning responsibility, and developing personalized methods to strengthen their executive functioning and self-regulatory skills.  We meet students where they are and build upon their current strengths while aiding in developing integrated executive functioning skills across their entire lifestyle, not just in academics.
